How to Find Your Model Number

Wall heaters: Check the metal rating plate on the back of the unit or inside the lower access panel near the gas valve.

Kerosene heaters: Look on the back panel near the fuel tank, or on the bottom of the unit. The model usually starts with WK, RMC, or KFA.

Forced air heaters: The rating plate is on the side of the barrel housing, often near the fuel tank or control panel.

Electric garage heaters: Check the top or back of the unit near the power cord junction box. Models start with EG.

Downloading Parts Manuals & Diagrams

Most Dyna-Glo heater manuals include an exploded parts diagram with part numbers. You can download manuals for free from the GHP Group website or by searching “[your model number] manual PDF” on Google.

The parts diagram shows every component of your heater with a numbered callout. Match the number to the parts list in the manual to find the exact OEM part number, then search that part number on Amazon for replacements.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I find my Dyna-Glo heater model number?
The model number is printed on a metal rating plate or sticker on the back or bottom of the heater. For wall heaters, check behind the unit or on the gas valve. For kerosene heaters, it's typically on the back panel near the fuel tank. For forced-air heaters, look on the side of the barrel housing.
Where can I download the Dyna-Glo heater parts manual?
Dyna-Glo manuals are available for free download at GHPgroupInc.com or by searching "[model number] manual PDF" on Google. Most manuals include an exploded parts diagram with part numbers for ordering replacements.
Are aftermarket heater parts safe to use?
Many aftermarket parts meet the same specifications as OEM parts and are safe when properly installed. For safety-critical components like thermocouples, ODS assemblies, and gas valves, we recommend OEM parts or well-reviewed aftermarket alternatives with model-specific compatibility confirmed.
